Polaris runs strategic upskilling programs to build global AI governance leadership.
Polaris is a new talent accelerator bridging critical gaps in AI governance and policy. Our programs, designed by subject-matter experts, serve to train policymakers and researchers across global governance institutions, civil society, and the private sector. By equipping decisionmakers to shape AI policy, we strengthen global capacity to meet the world’s most pressing challenges and opportunities from frontier AI.
Our Programs
All of our programs are facilitator-led and fully remote.
AI Governance Career Accelerator
This program supports fellows’ career transitions into AI governance. Fellows will gain an understanding of career paths into AI governance, improve their application materials, and build connections and mentorship to help their transition into working directly on AI policy.
China’s AI Landscape
This program equips fellows with the foundational understanding to productively engage China’s latest AI policies, developments, and their implications for global AI governance.

Before each discussion you’ll spend around two hours completing a set of readings, videos, and activities.
